Ramadan: NSCIA urges Muslims to look out for crescent moon

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has urged all Muslims in country to look out for crescent moon which will signify the start of Ramadan.

According to personal assistant on digital and new media to President Muhammad Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, who said, “NSCIAng advised Nigerian to look out for the crescent (new moon) of Ramadan 1443AH from Friday.”

The Ramadan is a popular month in Islam were a good Muslims is expected to fast for 30 or 29 days.
