Nigerian Activists and content creator, Debo Adebayo better known as Mr Macaroni has humbly snubbed the invitation by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to participate in a ‘peace walk’ to restored orderliness in the state.
Sanwo-Olu announced on Tuesday, November 30th, that he would lead the ‘peace walk’ in December “to herald the healing of the land.”
Other personalities invited are Falz, Dele Farotimi, Temitope Majekodunmi, Segun Awosanya (Segalink), Adedotun (Just Detoun), singer Seun Kuti, Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu and Commander of Rapid Response Squad, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi amongst others.

While reacting to the invitation on social media, Mr Macaroni snubbed the governor as he recounts how he was molested and humiliated in public during his last peace walk.
According to him, he was strip naked, brutalize and dehumanise by the police during the #EndSARS memorial in Lekki.
“I humbly decline the invitation of Mr Governor. The government themselves set up a panel. The panel has made recommendations. I believe that genuine peacemaking will begin by first implementing the recommendations of the panel. Then we can begin to trust the government. The last walk wey I do, na so them bundle me, strip me naked, brutalize and dehumanize me.I no carry gun, I no carry weapon.As dem dey beat me, dem they ask why I dey disturb Mr Governor. Now dem say make I come do walk? For another round of beating?”, he wrote in parts.
