The Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, popularly known as 3SC, on Sunday, defeated Lagos based MFM FC, 1-0 at the Teslim Balogun Stadium to secure their first away win of the season in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League match day 9.
3SC’s Akilu Mohammed struck in the 6th minute of the first half to give the Oluyole Warriors an early lead.
At the 45th minute, Coach Edith Olumide Agoye made a triple substitution with Malomo Taofeeq, Alalade Wasiu and Anietie Uko with the hope of winning more goals but they could secure the lone goal till the end of the match.

MFM FC also substituted a player at the 73rd minute.
According to the League Management Company’s Twitter handle, the match ended the match day 9.
With the victory, 3SC has moved from 15th position in the match day 8, to 12th, with twelve points.
While MFM, with 6 points from nine (9) matches, remain at the bottom of the NPFL.
