The Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA has denied taking part in Kwara poly unrest on Saturday, 29th January, 2022.
The NDLEA operatives reportedly escape by a whisker, days ago as the students attack them during a raid in the campus.
However, in what look like a retaliation raid, the NDLEA operatives were reported to have caused unrest in the Kwara poly axis with two persons dead.

An eyewitness recount what went down on social media;
“Some group of NDLEA attached to the ilorin akerebiata division came into the Kwara poly student and indigenous area of ilorin (Ara) ,some days ago and their mission failed when the student boldly disrupt the evades and spoilt their car .”
“Only for us to wake up this morning to the news of massive shot and killing of student or indigene at the same area, which means they came to retaliate”
The NDLEA has since took to their Twitter handle to refute the claim.
“NDLEA operatives were never in Kwara Poly or anywhere near the institution today Saturday 29th January 2022 for any operation. The Agency was not involved in the operation captured in the video trending on social media.”
