By Manchester United’s players have taken to social media in the past 24 hours, as Erik ten Hag’s side successfully recorded our first Europa League victory of the season over in Moldova.
First half goals from both Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo ensured the 2-0 triumph against Sheriff Tiraspol, with the Reds also keeping a clean sheet on the night at the Zimbru Stadium.
Controlling the game in a professional manner during the second period was seemingly top of the agenda for United, with the international break now kicking into action before we return to face rivals Manchester City in the Premier League on October 2.

With Ten Hag’s side now recording five wins from our last six outings in all competitions, confidence is clearly high within the camp, with our two-week hiatus the perfect chance for some players to recharge their batteries, with others jetting off on international duty.
