By As the politicking for the 2023 general elections heightened, a Nigerian lawyer has challenged author, Reno Omokri to publish his appointment letter as aide to former president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
According to Oraye, in a series of tweets on Twitter, he dare Omokri to “publish any appointment letter” that chooses he was truly an aide to Jonathan.
He said; “I challenge Reno Omokri to publish any appointment letter by President Jonathan, appointing him and, by that effect, conferring on him the status of Presidential Aide. The unwholesome grandstanding and misrepresentation has to stop. It amounts to fraud.”

“Reno does not need the toga or name of President Jonathan to promote his campaign for Atiku Abubakar . Reno should seek an office in the Atiku campaign with which to support and campaign for Atiku as one of those who promoted the ascendancy and ‘monumental disaster’ of Pres. Buhari, which Reno has consistently ‘tormented’ Pres. Buhari for. That Reno excuses and supports Atiku who sponsored Buhari to power, yet attacks and ‘torments’ Buhari who is the product and consequence of Atiku’s support cannot but be the grandest of unashamed hypocrisy.
“If Reno can validly ‘torment’ Buhari for underperformance how come he supports Atiku who marketed Buhari as being competent to change Nigeria for better. Why do we take these jokers seriously?”
In another tweet, Oraye further tauted Omokri over his silence on the trending issues.
“How long does it take to prove that you’re what you claim to be @renoomokri? Prove that @GEJonathan appointed you as his Aide while he was President. If you challenge me to ascertain the veracity of my claims, I won’t take this long. What’s happening??? #FakePresidentialAide”
Meanwhile, another Twitter user, Victor Israel has reacted to Reno Omokri’s interview with Arise TV.
According to him, Mr. Omokri leaves out burning issues in the nation’s and attack the Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.
