The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has dissolved its Lagos State administrative council formerly headed by Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) who was recently suspended over misconduct and insubordination by the union at the national.
This was made known in a statement released by the national body tagged ‘Dissolution of Lagos State Administrative Council.’
The statement was jointly signed by NURTW national president, Alhaji Tajudeen Baruwa, and its general secretary, Alhaji Kabiru Ado Yau.

However, Seyi Bankole, the union’s general secretary in Lagos state was subsequently announced as the new chairman in Lagos.
“MC Oluomo has been sacked as Lagos chairman. We had a meeting last night. We have replaced him,” a national officer of the union told The PUNCH.
