People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant for 2023 general election, Chief Dele Momodu has declared he his the only aspirant from Edo State.
Uncle ‘Dee’ as he’s fondly called made the statement at Femi Otedola’s mother 90th birthday party where he declared that the Edo state governor has endorsed him in the presence of other top dignitaries.
In attendance were the likes of Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and the CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele.

He said, “GOD bless my very dear Governor of EDO STATE, GODWIN OBASEKI for supporting me openly and publicly… At MAMA DOJA OTEDOLA’s 90th birthday today, he told ALHAJI ALIKO DANGOTE: “Hope you know DELE MOMODU is from my State?” And I stood up to tell ALHAJI why I’m the most SOUTHERN aspirant by parentage and association:
“I’m the only PDP Presidential Aspirant from Edo State (South South, paternal) who’s equally from Osun State (South West, Maternal and born and raised in Ile-Ife) with solid associations with South East and friends across Nigeria.”
