By The Lagos State Taskforce is extorting atleast, ₦26,000 from commercial buses drivers popularly known as danfo in different areas of the state, on a monthly basis.
According to a report gathered by Akewusolaf Blog, the money goes directly to the pocket of Chairman of the agency, CSP Shola Jejeloye.
This, is to enable the commercial drivers evade illegal arrest by the member of the taskforce.

“I don’t like driving anyhow because I don’t have the taskforce stickers.” A bus driver plying Berger-Mile12 tells our correspondent.
Information gathered reveals that the taskforce chairman mandated a sticker that sells for ₦10,000 on every commercial driver’s and a weekly levy of ₦4,000 each.
Upon sighting the sticker on any danfo buses, you’re ontouchable, even though you drive recklessly or against the traffic rules.
“Oga, even though you dey drive anyhow, as far as you have your sticker and you dey pay ₦4k every week, taskforce no fit do you anything.” another driver said.
