President Muhammad Buhari, on Wednesday, signed the executive order 11 on maintenance of public buulding into law.
The executive order was signed shortly before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the council chambers, State house, Abuja.
The policy is meant to give a facelift to federal buildings, such as federal secretariat, Abuja and 24 others across the country.

Commenting on the development, the honourable minister for housing and work, Mr Babatunde Fashola said, “This is the first time in Nigerian history a Government has made maintenance a matter of national policy.”
