The House of representatives has passed a resolution to construct a Divisional police headquarters in Ayete town in Ibarapa north local government area of Oyo State.
Report available to this publication on Wednesday, revealed the house has also mandated the committee on police affairs to include the project into 2023 budget.
A statement emanating from house of representatives read, “The @HouseNGR has passed a resolution urging the Nigeria Police to construct a Divisional Police Headquarters at Ayete town in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State.”

“Also mandated the Committee on Police Affairs to include construction of a Divisional Police Headquarters at Ayete town in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo state in the 2023 budget estimates.”
Also, The House has mandated the Committees on Telecommunications and Banking and Currency to look into the cases of people who have fallen victim to the breach of their privacy and identity theft to identify inadequacies in the relevant regulatory frameworks and proffer solutions and report back within four (4) weeks for further legislative action.
The motion was moved by Rep. Olusola Steve Fatoba, to seeks protection for telephone subscribers against breach of privacy, fraud and loss of money.
