Akala, 71, died exactly a month after the dead of Soun of Ogbomosho.
Confirming his death, Honourable Akin Alabi, a federal lawmaker representing Egeda Ona Ara tweet on Wednesday;
“We just lost our leader. Rest In Peace, His Excellency, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala. Oyo state just lost another political colossus. Thoroughbred politician. We will miss you.”
