Billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates abruptly announced on Monday that he and his wife, Melinda Gates, will be separating.
“After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage,” Mr Gates wrote in a statement posted on Twitter.
