Former Vice-President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has condemned the killings of over 40 peoples by bandits in Zumi local government area of Zamfara state.
The killings happens over the weekend has insecurity in the North persists on.
Atiku while condemning the dastardly act said;
“I am saddened by reports of the killing of over 40 persons in Zumi LGA of Zamfara. The killing of innocent citizens for whatever reason is not acceptable. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased and all those who the attack has displaced.
However, Atiku urge the state and FG to joins hand and end the Insecurity in the region.
He said: “I urge Gov. Bello Matawalle to join hands with the Federal government and security agencies to bring this dastardly acts under control.”
