The Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has replaced his Ekiti State counterpart, Kayode Fayemi, as the Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum.
Tambuwal assumed the position on Thursday at the National Economic Council meeting in Aso Rock Villa, Abuja, after Fayemi transferred the baton of office to him.
In other news, a 45-year-old man was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for impersonation.

According to a tweet shared by Lagos police spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin on Thursday, the impersonator was identified as Aloko Emmanuel.
He was apprehended after two years of impersonating the force.
“45-year old Aloko Emmanuel has been impersonating as a police officer for two years. He was arrested today by vigilant officers of Alausa Division. He will be arraigned immediately.” SP Benjamin Hundeyin’s tweet read
