The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn in Group A for the qualifying round of Africa Cup of Nation (AFCON) billed for Cote d’Ivoire next year.
Nigeria’s will be playing Sierra Leone, Guinea Bissau and either Sao Tome and Principe or Mauritius in Group A.
The three times African champions, according to Football analysis, is drawn in a relatively weak group.

Former Ivoiren football star Salomon Kalou who helped in the draw held on Tuesday evening in the Studios of South African digital television giants Super Sports, picked out Nigeria first from Pot 1 containing 12 top teams in Africa according to the recent FIFA World Rankings.
It is expected that Nigeria will easily qualify from Group A without much sweat.
Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Director of Competitions, Samson Adamu conducted the draw which also saw former South African captain Lukas Radabe helping in Kalou in drawing the lot.
